Wellness coaching is your opportunity to have a partner to
improve your health, fitness, and well-being, including
happiness! Studies show that people who are happy tend to
engage in healthier behaviors. Wellness coaching is done by
phone, so it doesn't matter where you live!
WELLNESS
VISION
A wellness coach partners with you to create your own
personal wellness vision. To get where you want to go, you
have to know where you are headed!
MOTIVATION
Its also important to think about what is motivating you to
make the changes you want to make and think it through
before starting. Research about behavior change tells us
that when this is done, you are more likely to be
successful.
STRENGTHS
Part of the wellness vision is identifying your strengths
and building on what you are already doing well!
THREE MONTH GOALS
A vision is important, but is nothing without the actions
to reach it, so we come up with a plan together that will
ensure you take the actions, one step at a time, to get
there. Weight loss is an outcome and not a behavior, for
example. The behaviors or actions that you need to be doing
consistently for weight loss to happen, are what make up
the wellness plan. You will partner with your coach to
determine the three month behavioral goals you want to
achieve, and then meet with your coach weekly or biweekly
to plan smaller baby steps to reach your vision.
WEEKLY
SUPPORT
A coach helps you think about what needs to be in place for
you to be successful with your plan. Instead of focusing on
what is NOT working, we focus on what IS working and build
on that. Each week you think about how to facilitate the
changes you want to make and decide if they are still worth
shooting for!
HAPPINESS

to improve your happiness!
So
exactly what happens? A professionally trained coach
partners with you to clarify what matters most, to
strategize for success, and to support you in taking
consistent action. Whether it’s improving your
happiness, eating better, getting fit, losing weight, or
managing your energy and stress levels, a wellness coach
can support you. The program will help you build confidence
to make and sustain changes in a guilt free environment.
Sessions take place by phone for your convenience, with one
90 minute initial session where a wellness plan is
developed to help you think about what matters most. This
is followed by weekly or biweekly sessions as needed to
support you in taking consistent action.
