Wellness
Coaching:
Inspiring
hope, motivation, and success...
helping you find your pathway to lasting
change!
Wellness
coaching gives you a pathway to feeling your best with
powerful, yet practical steps, that inspire hope,
possibility, and strength to follow your vision of health
and well-being.
Who's the best fit for
wellness coaching with Priorities Simplified?
People who are wanting to feel better, have more energy,
and build healthy habits for lasting lifestyle change, but
want or need help with motivation and follow through!
Wellness coaching also builds positive emotions and
confidence!
How
does coaching work?
Coaching is conducted by phone, so there are no
geographical boundaries. The average program is three
months with follow up sessions as needed afterwards. A
program includes an initial session of 90 minutes followed
by five-six 45 minute sessions. You can have a few coaching
sessions or work with a coach for years. It all depends on
what you want to accomplish.
What
is covered in wellness coaching?
Anything that impacts your health, fitness, happiness, and
well-being. A wellness coach can help you lose weight,
improve your happiness, reduce stress, eat healthier, get
fit, increase energy, or life issues that impact your
wellness. The focus is on lasting change, not quick fixes.
Why
wellness coaching?
Most of us know what we need to do to feel our best but
never seem to get around to doing it, or struggle with
following through. A coach partners with you to prioritize
what matters most and follow through with a specific plan
of action! We don’t build dependency. A good coach
helps you build confidence in your ability to do it on your
own, so eventually, we aren’t needed!
How is it different?
Coaches don’t tell you what to do. We know that you
know your life best. We ask the questions that will help
you think through what you really want and why it matters,
as well as what your next step should be. But if you need
some advice, we are here for that as well, with
professional credentials to support your journey. Coaches
use a strength based approach, which means we don’t
focus on “weaknesses” or what is not working.
We partner to think about what
will
work, what gives energy, what motivates, and support
consistent action to facilitate the changes in a way that
works for you.
What are the credentials of your wellness
coaches?
Professional coaches are certified through Wellcoaches, the
gold standard in health and wellness coaching who meet
pre-requisites of being exercise, nutrition, or health
professionals credentialed by a nationally recognized
organization. Coaches only work within their scope of
practice, however, and will refer if necessary.
